I just started my Scentsy business in April and I’m loving it! I have done many of the MLM businesses out there, and was thrilled to find this new and unique line of products.

My warmers are turned on from sun-up to sun-set. My house smells so awesome all day long without the danger of open flames or waxy messes from a turned over candle.

This warmer is so unusual, having the two different saucers which changes your decor from season to season.

Since this blog is one of several I have and each one is on a different subject, I have decided to do some changing.

My main blog is Crazy for the Country. It is my family blog, where I post about anything and everything in our every day lives.

Besides my main blog, there is this one, Stepford Housewife. Then, I also have Calling It Quilts, Hugs by the Pound and Oh Chicken Feathers!.

I am going to make all of my “secondary” blogs into review or informational type blogs. I plan to post at least a couple of times a week on each of them, each post will be very specific. For instance, here on Stepford Housewife, each post will be about a wonderful recipe, book or cookbook, home-making related gadget and the like. This format will carry over to each of my other blogs, keeping Crazy for the Country as my main “what’s happening” blog for our family.

So be sure to bookmark each one and come back often. This change will start tomorrow, June 1, 2010.

My intentions were good in regards to this blog when I posted back earlier in the summer.

Since then, our family’s summer has been a summer of he**.  If something could go wrong, it has.  I believe we have hit “bottom”, so there’s nothing but up now.  Things will be improving every day and I will be here on a regular basis soon to post.

Well, I figured it’s finally time to write a post for my newest blog.

Stepford Housewife blog will be a fun place to hang out for information, recipes, housekeeping ideas and generally anything for the home and family.

Many have asked me where I got the name “Stepford Housewife”. Especially since I’m so much about getting my family living a much more simple lifestyle and “getting back to basics”.  Well, even modern day women can get back to basics, right?  I do love the movie The Stepford Wives(the newer version, not the older, original one) and I have spent a bit of time watching the first few seasons of Desperate Housewives.  So I decided to combine the names and turn Stepford Housewife into not only my eBay name, but my newest blog.  I do confess, too, I’ve also watched a few episodes of The Real Housewives of Orange County. I am DEFINITELY not anything like any of them
